如何判断公司是否已经开始绿卡申请

今年4月，在老公数次向部门经理提出要求下，部门经理也再次向公司主管人事的副总裁转达啦我们希望尽快办理绿卡的要求。终于在一天下班前部门经理告诉我老公公司已经同意今年开始为我们办理绿卡。可是这么4个多月过去，没有感觉到任何动静，部门经理也不敢随便去催促副总裁。这是一个1000多人的大公司，我想还不至于为这事说谎把？！是不是要有很多准备工作要做而我们又不得知呢？难道副总裁一说完就忘掉啦？！那又该怎么样去催一催呢？
