请教Pjiang and 863211老师， 485 receipt notice如此重要么？

5-12-2010 EAD renewal mail delivered,
6-15-2010, call them to know the case rejected without reason. check 没有被兑取。

I-485 is pending since 7-25-2007. 从未收到receipt notice。到现在手上也没有。曾经为此去local office 问询过，人家说485在，但不给copy.理由是receipt notice mail没有被退回去。曾经写信给USCIS，但回信说案子在，就是不重新寄receipt notice.
我曾两次成功得到EAD. 每一次是随着485同时申请的，不需要485 reciept notice；第二次是自己准备的，没有receipt notice，但我提供了指纹通知，移民局给我的说明485案子在的信， 还有485被兑取的支票。
这一次我同样提供了相应材料，但案子被拒了。我感觉I-765审批严格了。重要的一条是 "You must include a copy of the I-797C Notice of Action showing that your applicatioin was accepted." 我感觉此条款以前没有过（记不清以前是否有此条款了，请大侠指正）。
至少我得到教训，看来我必须要得到receipt notice，否则不知道哪里就受到影响。

1）具体被拒的理由还不知道，但敢问Pjiang and 863211老师，您觉得485 receipt notice会不会是理由呢？
2）您说我应该怎样再得到一份receipt notice呢？
