她刚刚拿到绿卡不久，现在就可以申请美国公民吗?
-No. She can not apply for the US citizenship until 5 years after she got the GC.

她在申请期间，可以回国探亲吗?
-Yes. But she has better not stay in China for more than 6 months continuosly. Otherwise, it will affect/delay her US citizeship application.
