(1)她的儿子要等多久?
-It normally takes 8 to 10 years for her son to get the GC if her son does not get married. If her son get married, she can not sponsor her son's GC application unless she becomes a US citizen.

(2)申请期间，她可以回国探亲吗?
-Irrelevant.
