关于AP过期日的问题

我的I-485还在Pending。去年申请的AP过期日是今年10月28日，还没有用过。如果今年在10月28日前我去加拿大（本人是加拿大公民，不需要签证），回来时用AP，移民官是不是会在我的AP上盖上有进关日的章，而我就可以在此后一年内用这一AP入境。例如，我在今年7月1日用AP进来，移民官盖上章后我可以在明年7月1日前用这一AP。

如果我的理解正确，我就不需要此时申请AP Renew，而可以明年再申请。

哪位知道请解释一下。多谢。
