1. What would 'a motion to reopen' do?
-It similar to appeal. For I-485, it is called "Motion to Reopen"; For I-140, it is called "Appeal"
You have to file Motion to Reopen within 30 days after your I-485 is denied.

2. What are our options?
-Hire a lawyer to help you to file Motion to Reopen as soon as possible. Nothing needed to worry that much.
