AP过期，爷爷病重，需要立刻回国，可以选择Ｈ２签证么？

有问题请教。
爷爷病重，却发现自己的护照十月就到期了。　现在好像都要亲自去换新的，也不知道需要多久。
还有我的ＡＰ也过期了。需要renew。　似乎也需要等很久，　是么？

现有问题如下：
1， 明天我就去换护照，大概需要多久能下来？
2,　如果我等不及ＡＰ　renew下来，回国去签Ｈ２　的话，会发生什么？会被拒签么？会影响绿卡么？
