04年我在h身份时曾有不到1年的self employee, 并在税表上填了，现在担心会因此导致485被拒。
-Do you mean you worked when you were H4 status using EAD in 2004? If so, your status is AOS, not H4. You do not need to worry about your status (H4 or AOS) and do not need to do anything. Even if your I-485 is denied, you still can come back to H4 status as long as your hu*****and keep his H1 status valid.

签了H4后回来，是否需要withdraw现有的485，再等排期到了重新file 485？如果不重新file 485的话，出境激活签证的好处（以前的一笔勾销）是否还用得上？
-You do not need to withdraw your I-485 because getting H4 visa to com back does not affect your I-485 if your current status is H1/H4.
