关于I-94延期的问题

有几个关于I-94的问题。
目前处于H-4身份，老公的H1B后年才过期,H4也一样。但是，护照明年就过期（目前正在申请延期护照），入境的时候，海关给的I-94的过期日和护照一样，也就是I-94会比 H4早过期。

问了周围几个朋友，大都I-94和H4 一样，即使护照要早过期。
请问我的这种情况常见么？在延完护照后，需要额外申请I-94延期致H4 expire date 么？如果要，会不会影响LPR的申请阿？因为现在正等着priority date .
