Actually my passport and I-94 have same expire date, and it's earlier than H4 .

my passport is on going to be extended , but the question is about the I-94 .

Is the I-94 supposed to be given same date as the nonimmigration status expiration date ? Like H4 . I don't know whether USCIS will hornor the claim this is the mistake of the I-94 or they will insist that it should be same date as whichever comes first , expiration for H4 or passport .
