My understanding is as long as we get married before my 485 is approved(which is true for our case), I can his 485 even AFTER my 485 is approved. What is his PD? same as mine, or the date when his 485 is received? In order to use my PD, is there any deadline of his 485 submission?

Second question, If I the I485 for him now, can he still get CPT or OPT? which one is better? (I heard that some F1's OPT were rejected by USCIS after they their 485, But it seems that CPT is approved by the International Student Office, and does not go through USCIS, so CPT sounds better, Is this true?)

Last question, What is your suggestion? Should I his 485 now or wait after renewal of his I-20?
