I'm H-1B holder, with I-140 approved and I-485 pending, but without EAD. If I was laid off, how long I can still stay in the US even without EAD? If this period is long enough, I could apply for EAD and new H-1B).
I know if one without I-140 approved and I-485 pending, he must leave US instantly.
Do I need to apply EAD in case laid-off?
