I don't think people should refer to the old archives. If you want to, you are assuming that there will be immigration reform bill being passed in the near future.

In 1990's there was the IT boom and a lot of powerful indian lawyers to push the congress and solved the retrogression problem.

Today, they have more priorities such as Hurricane, Supreme Court, Energy, Government Approval Rate...

Those immigration form bills are very trivial considering the current government crisis.

I agree with you if there are bills being passed soon then you can refer to retro archives. I think EB1 is okay but both EB2&3 are FUBAR now.---f up beyond all recognition or f up beyond all reparation.
