H1B DIY question

I plan to do H1B by myself. After reviewing the I-129, I have a question: where to put my wife's information? I may have a misunderstanding about the procedure. Is it tthat I first file I-129 and them adjust status from F1 to H1 and my wife's F2 to H4?
