还有一种选择，那就是干脆撤销H1B extention的申请算了。
-Not need to withdraw it. There are several situations in your case:
1. if your H1 extension is approved during your travel and your old H1 is still valid, you can use AP to return to US and your H1 extension is still valid. Thus, you just continue to work.
2. if your H1 extension is approved during your travel and your old H1 has expired, you have to ask your employer to send the H1 exrension approval notice to you to apply for the h1 visa to come back and work.
3. if your H1 extension is still pending after you return to US using AP, your H1 extension is still valid and you can continue to work if your old H1 is till valid. But if your old H1 has expired after you reenter US using AP and your h1 extension is still pending, you can not work until the H1 extension is approved.
