Here is my situation: both my hu*****and and I work under TN. Both TN will expire in Nov,2012. I am applying Green Card via my company. My EB-2 PD is 05/2009. My company will file 485/EAD for me and my hu*****and next month. But my company will merge with another company this month and no one knows what will happen. My question is: should my hu*****and push his company to apply H1-B for him in April 2012? In case something happens to me, he can continue his work.
Is that a good strategy? - That is for safe side.
After he files 485/EAD, is he still allowed to apply for H1-B? - Yes as they're irrelevant
