本人是H1B / EB2-PERM (140 APPROVED)，没有递485。现在公司打算把我从analyst提到vice president。职务内容可能会有稍许变化，也有可能有人report给我。看了不少文章，好像我不能够接受这个职位。请赐教，多谢！
-You can file an H1 amemdment for your new position so that you can work for that position legally (you can work first and then file the h1 amemdment shortly). But you may need to file a new PERM and then a new I-140 again (you can use the priority date for your I-140). Of course, if you will come back to work for your current position/title after you get the GC, you do not need to to anything (your employer needs to convince USCIS about this if they send the RFE).
