YES. Sec. 106 of “American Competitiveness in the 21st Century Act” and the “21st Century Department of Justice Appropriations Authorization Act”. permit H-1B nonimmigrants to extend H-1B status beyond the six-year maximum period when 365 days or more have passed since the filing of any application for labor certification for the alien. Based on these laws, you can extend H-1B on yearly basis.
