AP and H1B 紧急求助！！！

现在是I485 pending, 已有AP， 但还在用H1B。 已定好机票，要走时才听说用AP回来H1B就无效了。着急中发现回中国签证已来不及了。我也查了旧帖，如 pjiang 写的：

移民局的规定是，H 签证使用 AP 入境，只要仍然维持 H 身份，则不必进入 AOS 状态。其 H 身份可以 transfer (H-1)，也可以 extend (H-1/4)，就象你没有用过 AP 一样。

我看了不很明白：怎莫才算 “只要仍然维持 H 身份”？

我的情况是回来还是旧的雇主， 不会换工作。请有经验的人教我如果用AP回来， 怎莫才能恢复H1B身份？ 是让我的雇主再为我办一次H1B么？
