I also in same situation. My OPT will expire before 08/01/2007.

Looks like I can't keep the job offer, because I think no company can hold the position for almost one year.

How about back to china, then work for the US company in china? The company can still send payment to my account in US.Will this be illegal?

This year the H1b visa reached the cap very soon, Is that possible the US govnerment add more visa for FY2007?
