Toyota, Ford top Reader’s Digest “most trusted”
Toronto, Ontario - Toyota and Ford have topped a survey by Reader’s Digest Canada, which named Toyota the “most trusted” manufacturer for cars and SUVs, and Ford for pickup trucks.
Reader’s Digest Canada commissioned Harris/Decima to conduct a research study into Canada’s most trusted brands, as part of a Reader’s Digest global initiative. The results are reported in the June 2009 issues of Reader’s Digest and Selection du Reader’s Digest magazines.
“This is a remarkable honour and we’re humbled to accept these important endorsements from Canadians,” said Stephen Beatty, managing director of Toyota Canada. “At Toyota, we know that trust is something you have to earn and keep. From proven environmental innovations that mean savings at the pump, to quality manufacturing that means fewer repair bills, to industry-leading resale values when drivers are ready to move on to their next Toyota, Canadians trust Toyota to deliver real value.”
