儿子拿的到了学校本科研究奖学金

Illinois Scholars of Undergraduate Research（ISUR）

下学期跟一个教授做research，学校给一份奖学金。

这个奖能拿到主要是大一他参加了学校针对一二年级学生办的research program，完成了一个project，主要是计算机模拟civil engineering的方面的一个课题。当时这个项目还获得一个小奖。做项目的时候，他和教授还有带他的博士生处得不错，这次获奖就是他申请然后教授背书。

这种校内研究经历对找intern挺有帮助的。虽然刷题很重要，但是能让你在诸多申请者中脱颖而出拿到OA还是要有比较漂亮的简历。

香槟这方面机会还是很多的，如果没有外面intern，好好利用校内资源也能写出漂亮的简历。
