Trump is scheduled to meet with executives from major U.S. oil companies, including ExxonMobil and Chevron, at the White House on Friday, January 9, 2026. 

Representatives from nearly 20 companies, including ConocoPhillips and other independent producers, are expected to attend the meeting. The primary topic of discussion is the expansion of U.S. industry involvement in Venezuela's energy sector following recent U.S. military actions that led to the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.
