In November 2024, Donald Trump Jr. joined the advisory board of drone and drone component manufacturer Unusual Machines (UMAC). The announcement coincided with a significant surge in the company's stock price and UMAC has since landed a major contract with the U.S. Army to supply drone parts. Trump Jr.'s role is also tied to the company's goal of moving drone manufacturing to the U.S. to reduce reliance on Chinese supplier.
