Merck delivers health solutions to improve human and animal health. It has 2 main segments- the *pharmaceutical segment* which makes up 86% of Q3 revenue, and the *animal health segment* which makes up 9% of revenue. MRK has a deep product pipeline, including *best-selling cancer drug Keytruda*, which contributes to 36% of revenue and has been projected to become the *top-selling drug in the industry by 2026*.

*Q3 revenue and EPS* grew by 13.72% YoY and 5.71% respectively, led by *19.67% growth in Keytruda*. The stock appears undervalued at a *blended forward P/E ratio of 14.7x*, a *21% discount* to industry peers. With *pet ownership on the rise*, the animal health segment should improve. At the same time, an *aging population* should support long-term growth. The stock should remain *resilient even in a downturn as demand for healthcare is inelastic*.
