Meeting with Hedge Fund Manager

I met one hedge fund manager yesterday, he suggested me to keep my money in tax free bond. If I need take some risk, he suggest me to put some money on short side or he can manage money for me. His funds have average return around 27 percents. He said S&P will go down to 1800 or lower and the best time to get in is by this time next year. But I am little bit doubt about this.
