Rule of thumb, NEVER apply more than 2-3 New credit cards

 each year! Every new card needs a Hard inquiry for your credit. Each hard inquiry is big Negative for your credit score. plus, one main factor for your credit score is the average number of years of your credit history. The more new cards, the lower the number of years of your credit history.  so that is why they reject your new card application
