Jeff Gundlach on bond rates, shorting India and buying China: Recap

Jeffrey Gundlach, chief executive of DoubleLine Capital and a bond-market expert who is known to take the podium at pivotal points, held a webcast entitled “What if,” late Tuesday. A litany of scenarios could have followed that opening — from the Federal Reserve’s potential move to scale back its bond purchases, to potential U.S. military action against Syria, to the impact of weakness in emerging markets on global debt.

He would go long Russia and China, and looks at the Market Vectors Russia ETF RSX 0.47% .

And lastly: He ‘sort of’ likes gold mining ETF GDX GDX 0.34% and REITs are attractive.
