AMD has lead intel in terms of processor performance for quite some times now, especially in the space of low end server. There are a lot of reasons why AMD should keep going up: 3rd quarter will be better -- according to some high ups. AMD 64 contributes significately to the bottom line. the transition to the 90nm technology is a resounding success. FAb36 is on schedule. also, SEMI as whole has outperformed in the last couple monthes. you add all these together, the result is higher stock price
