Forgive me if I am too drunk, I still don't see the link between unemployment in US and big deficit in US-China trade. I read in Business Week where 1-2 months ago when it basically talked about the White had realised that the jobs lost were not directly due to China's competitiveness. And that the jobs lost will not be back if Yuan's valuation rises. Jobs go to other countries.

The biggest puzzle for me is tha why the Euro countries seem so peaceful with their rising curreny. They don't seem to care at all. They have plenty of exporter too, Airbus comes to mind right away.
