我的基本thesis: Poor guys are better off in the US or other developed countries because of better welfare system. Rich guys might consider to live in China for various reasons. But of course the super rich can choose to live anywhere in the world.
Middle-class people like me should consider very carefully the priorities and preferences when making a choice (the following only applies to Chinese who can choose btw US and China). In most cases, career-oriented people should go back while family-oriented might choose to stay in the US (given you are not the only child and you reached a consensus on how to care for your parents with your siblings).
