You mean if you have another better risk/reward stock, then you cut your profit for the first one. Quite understandable.
But if the first one is also have a good r/r ratio and it's already running your way, I often cut the profit too soon (I admit it's my mistake). I also know that it's due to a psycological trap (myself).
Always more difficult to decide correct "Exit" point.
