While Rust-Oleum HOME Countertop Coating can be applied to a variety of surfaces it can be difficult for the paint to properly adhere to marble without potentially damaging the surface. In order for the best adhesion it would require you to sand the marble surface. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14
