求助： 怎样把这个管子堵上

出租房水池下有这么一截PVC管子（见图），不知道干什么用的，应该是连着下水管。前屋主用胶水堵上了。时间久了胶水老化，租客使用洗碗机时堵的地方开始漏水。怎样把它再堵上？我试了3/4寸PVC end cap，但原管内径比3/4寸稍稍细了一点点。并且我注意到原管内径还有螺纹。大家有没有什么好主意？谢谢！
