印地安纳房地产市场值得投资吗？

孩子今年秋季去普渡大学读博士，有可能在当地买个多单元的公寓或者独立屋用来半自主半出租，请问当地的房地产市场有投资的潜力吗？网上看了一下，好像这两年房价还在涨，而且是绝对的卖方市场，平均上市时间四天。不知道是不是这样，如果是这样还要抢房子吧？
