Costco $COST is working on a new project to help with the affordable housing crisis by building apartments above its stores. Their first one will be an 800-unit development in Los Angeles.

Construction starts this year and will include a rooftop pool, fitness center, and 184 units for low-income families. Residents will have easy access to the Costco right downstairs. The project is expected to finish in 2027.
