1. login your AMEX acount and go to membership reward points, explore rewards, earn and redeem, pick Hawaii airlines.
2. if you don't have a hawaii airline account, actually I think most people do not, you can open one, after you verify email and login, go back to AMEX enter your Hawaii airline acount info and link it, do a test run maybe 1000 points just to test the link, the points should transfer instantly.
3. goto the following link,

4. do a test run, if all good then transfer more, just remember AMEX charges a fee for transferring to any US airlines but cap at $99.
I just did another 300k points and flawlessly.
AMEX MR points itself if you cash out its .6cents, if you have a Schwab plat, you can get it cash out at 1.1cents, but the true value of either AMEX or Chase points are transferring the points to airline miles and use the miles to book biz class flights.
