请问装窗户时是不是必须要用 flashing tape

以防水气浸入引起发霉或漏水现象？想将 single pane windows 全换成 double pane的，过程是不是一定要先用 flashing tape 围着四周然后才打胶？handyman 说不用。我狗了下好像这步聚是必须的，大佬们怎么看？先谢啦
