问老地主们一个tricky的问题，真的把我搞疯了

是这样的

房客抱怨房子里有一些奇怪的气味，怀疑排风管道里面小动物死了，但时有时无，他们也不确定

后来发现crawl space里面sewer pipe漏水（Internet company排线时看到的），我就叫sewer company去修，修好了

再然后，他们说房子里面有很多sewer smell 和 sewer flies，不知道从哪来，坚持说sewer pipe没修好。我就又让sewer company下去看，pipe确实修好了，没有气味和苍蝇。另外也请了air duct cleaning company 去清理（因为租客又说气味从vent里来的），没有发现死掉的小动物，只有一些灰尘。

这个问题好多天没有解决，因为我们也想不到是什么问题。租客说房子inhabitable 住酒店去了，让我们给报销酒店费用。

最后的最后，终于找到了原因，是washing machine的下水管里面水干了，只要不时加点水就行了。。。

我的问题是，这个责任是谁的？我应该免房租和支付酒店费用吗？另外如何摆脱这个租客，损失最小？

我已经约了律师咨询，但还是想听听老地主们的想法
