有不能做background check 的工作吗

自住房要出租，有个申请人听上去条件不错，收入不错，存款不错，我问他要Ssn做background check.他说了这些。房子很大，租金很高。大家看看有没有猫腻。

I can send you two months paystubs two months bank statements and DL. My wife can do a background check, unfortunately for the work I am in I cannot. I can send you the executive rental packet from my employer. If that doesn't work, I definitely understand.
