请教septic tank

在看一个duplex，在亚特兰大附近，用septic tank。如果验房没有明显drainage问题，需要做septic tank inspection吗？ 我的经纪说通常没有明显问题就不做。因为要开拖拉机去挖，可能要五百块。

我怕的是如果有问题修起来是不是很贵？
