也提醒地主们对待move in inspection 要谨慎。 如果租客搬进去的时候你给了租客一个move in inspection的标准表格，但是租客啥都没填. 后来你也忘了。 如果出现问题，法官会判定地主一分钱都不能从押金里扣。因为法官认为之前没有一个valid move in inspection. From Judgement After Trial: 

"The checklist provided by Defendent did not contain any descirption, let alone a specific one. Because Defendant failed to provide a valid checklist at the commencement of the lease, Plantiff is entitled to recieve back the full amount security deposit"

有多个网友建议appeal, 想请教一下：

是选择appeal, 还是退还押金，之后再file一个small claim 要求租客退还他应该交的费用?

租客已经搬到别的州了，我是否不能在本州的small claim court 去告他了？

如果这个过程我又输了，而对方用了律师，我需要支付对方的律师费吗?
