呼唤柠檬大侠和老地主：请问关于租客因为抑郁症要求养猫，我这样回信可以吗？

Tenant’s request:

I spoke with my psychologist about getting an ESA and said I would get a cat. I am diagnosed with depression, bipolar, and anxiety. I want to ask if you would be willing to let me own a cat. 

Reply:

I am very sorry to hear about your medical condition and do understand your request.

In order for us to further evaluate your request, can you kindly provide the following?

1. Documentation showing that you have depression, bipolar, and anxiety.

2. Documentation showing how the above condition limits a major life activity.

3. Documentation showing the need for an emotional support animal, such as a cat, due to the above condition.
