Eisenhower used to say, you take care of important things first, before they became urgent. 

Of course it doesn't have to be NOW, before the snow melt.  Snow melt is pretty gradual unlike the sudden downpour.  But you should put this on the agenda. 

EDIT: I don't know where you live and how heavy the snow is.  So make your own decision.
