You don't pay estate tax

The estate is in china, there is no US estate tax impact when you inherit in China.

However, since you inherited the property, it gained in value.  So you have to pay capital gain tax for gains since you inherited the property. 

Estate is 遗产，inheritance is 继承.  US charges estate tax not inheritance tax.  Therefore estate in China is not subjected to US estate tax.
