But even the fake bag is not cheap if it is a high qualit fake. The price is somewhere 10% of the cost of a real bag if it is high quality. A low quality one would be around 100RMB. It is easy to tell whether it is fake or not actually.
It depends on what kind of jobs you have really. I work for an IT company. The developers, QAs and support really dont care what brand they dress, what bags they have etc. Majority of them are nerds. Then if you look at marketing, sales, professional services department 95% dress really well and carry LV, Gucci bags. At least this is the case for our company.I went to the LV store in Paris. There is a long line in front of the door and majority are Chinese. The reason they require passport is to limit the number of bags you could buy (just in case you want to do fake reproductions). There is another tax return reason. If you use somebody else' passport I assume you wont be able to get your 12% tax return. If you dont get 12% tax return there is no point to buy LV bag in France. The price would be the same as in the states and Hongkong.
