Duke or even Rice,  then he/she potentially can get into a (much) better medical school than any BAMD direct path.

If he can get into a top BAMD, getting into the above 3 schools is not even a big issue.

Your kid might get into a T5 as well, but for pursuing medicine, T5 do not offer much added value than the 3 Ivy+ schools mentioned above.
