Since I don’t have a new card sooner than May,12(my old one expires), I will be put on unpaid leave, which means I cannot work, or I work as a volunteer without pay. In this case, I guess I will stay at home till I get the new card. Let’s say that I will get the card eventually on July 4 (3 months from today), during May 12 to July 4, I don’t have a job, will it affect my 485
(based on NIW)?
