I had the same experience and survived.

Don't let the child be the witness. The child is innocent. Let the child alone. Your father might be the witness.

Be seperate physically and finacially. If arrested, get out of jail first and abide the restraining order strictly.

Get attorneys handle the criminal charge and divorce/custody/support, cost will be over 5 digits.
