How to Wind the springs?

Garage Door 的 spring 烂了~ 换了个新的 spring 但是不知道要多少turn? 

网上有人说

30 quarter turns for a 7-ft.-tall door and 36 quarter turns for an 8-ft.-tall door.

请问是什么样算的?  谢谢~
